About Spri gear

Spri makes the small equipment of a gym floor: resistance tubes and loop bands, vinyl and hex dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, exercise mats, a slide board and a balance dome. The eighteen pieces in this catalogue are the ones worth owning at home.

None of it needs a rack or a wall anchor. A door, a shelf and a patch of floor are enough for the whole list.

Built for clubs, bought for homes

Most Spri listings carry the same sentence: designed for commercial gyms and clubs to be used 100 times a day versus 100 times a year in a home gym. The build follows from it. Tubes get a handle plug, a protective sleeve and a grommet where the rubber meets the grip; mats get rustproof grommets so forty of them can hang on hooks; dumbbells get rubber ends that protect floors and quieten racks.

At home that standard reads as durability. A tube that survives a year of classes survives a decade in a drawer, and a mat that keeps its shape stacked under thirty others keeps it rolled under a bed.

Choosing between Spri tubes, bands and iron

Rubber and iron answer different questions. Tubes and bands give resistance that grows through the movement and pack into a bag; iron gives a fixed load that feels the same at the bottom of a squat as at the top. Pulls, presses and rehab lean on rubber; swings, carries and squats lean on iron.

Within the rubber, the Xertube has handles and a door anchor for upper-body work, the Xercuff adds ankle cuffs for legs, the figure-8 band is the compact option for arms and shoulders, and the Superband is a loop for assisted pull-ups and lateral walks. The tube kit covers five levels with one set of handles.

Reading the colours and sizes

Vinyl dumbbells, Deluxe kettlebells and medicine balls are colour coded, with the weight printed on the piece. Resistance tubes follow a colour scale too, from very light to heavy, so a medium red Xertube and a medium red Xercuff are the same pull.

Hex dumbbells are sold in pairs up to 25 pounds and singly above that. Mats come in two lengths, 56 and 71 inches, and the folding mat in 60 and 72. Checking the colour or size in the listing title is usually enough to land on the right piece.
